Our Story

Our founder, John Uleim, a lifelong weekend athlete who watched his own parents give up pickleball and hiking far too soon, refused to settle for that answer. He teamed up with physical-therapy mentors, industrial-design friends, and a small workshop that understood hardwood better than anyone. The first prototype, a wooden slant board built to clinic specs, wasn’t meant to become a business. It was simply a tool to help Mom squat without pain and Dad climb stairs without wincing.

But the results spoke louder than any marketing copy ever could. Neighbors started asking for “that board.” Local PTs requested a batch for their rehab rooms. Word spread, and VelorHealth took shape around a bigger mission:

Help people move better so they can live limitless, at any age.
